I spent too much money to make the truck drive worse. It's coming off when I can get the time to remove and have it realigned. The steering stiffens up, especially on tight turns, the ride is worse, the mileage is worse.

Almost everything I read was "doesn't change the handling, feels the same as stock, saw no drop in mileage." This kit levels the front of the truck, but it's not all it's cracked up to be. I read many forums before installing a leveling kit.

Overall I am very happy with this purchase to lift the front end just enough to fit some slightly larger tires and improve the appearance of my truck. The Motofab unit appears to be of great quality, easily matching more expensive options. I really like the machined top strut mount application because it is relatively hidden and keeps a stock look aside from the lift. There is also still enough space between the UCA and bump stop to allow travel as well. There is an small, almost unnoticeable amount of rake left, which is good for me because I do tow periodically. I decided on the 2in because it seemed it wouldn't put my control arms or CV angles outside of the safe operating range.

I don't like the full stock rake in the vehicles but also researched endlessly the potential increased wear to the front suspension by lifting the front too much. That being said this kit accomplished exactly what I had hoped for. In reality the drive's and passenger's side can be off by a little and no two trucks are the exact same rake from back to front. The main reason people buy them is not necessarily to "level" their vehicle, but rather raise the front end. The term leveling kit gets used generically for a number of different products and sizes.
